Jones and Bartlett Acquires Sleep Ed, LLC

May 14, 2009, Sudbury, MA—Jones and Bartlett LLC today announced the acquisition of Sleep Ed, LLC a privately held publisher of references for sleep technicians and professionals as well as respiratory care students.  Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The recently published Essentials of Polysomnography is the first textbook on the market to contain the new 2007 American Academy of Sleep Medicine scoring rules as well as the latest sleep disorder categorizations.  Designed for training sleep technicians and preparing them for the RPSGT certification exam, it has been accepted as the primary text for many college and university based sleep programs and contains useful information for sleep technicians, registered sleep technologists, physicians, sleep lab managers, DME reps, and sleep lab front office staff members.
