Jones and Bartlett Publishers Acquires Physicians’ Press
January 15, 2008, Sudbury, MA – Jones and Bartlett Publishers LLC (J&B) announced today the acquisition of Physicians’ Press, an innovative medical publishing company specializing in books and other resources in the fields of cardiovascular medicine, infectious disease, diabetes, and other clinical specialties. Included in this acquisition is the acclaimed “Essentials Series” of quick reference pocket guides for physicians. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
