Chapter 22 - Changes in Gene Frequencies
“Selection” is the basis of changes in populations that, over time, lead to differences among those popuations (evolution). Darwin and Wallace identified “natural selection” and Darwin wrote a great deal about “sexual” selection as well. Today, studies of selection are an important part of biology and, as a result, we understand the process of selection in many dimensions.
