About the Course:
This course provides training on the basics of OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) together with the following topics: The components of a Hazcom program; hazardous chemicals and their properties; parties responsible for implementing Hazcom; and the employee’s right to access information, training, and protection. The course references some California specific issues such as Substances covered by Haz-Com and requirements under Proposition 65.
