This course focuses on the OSHA requirements and includes the following topics: What employees should know before moving, handling, and storing materials; the potential hazards, precautions and safe work practices including recommended lifting techniques; potential hazards; and the precautions and safeguards to prevent injury and damage to the work environment. This course is intended for employees, supervisors and managers. References for this course principally comes from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
