Dr. Trisha Suppes is Director of the Bipolar Disorder Research Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, and the Director of the Bipolar Disorder Module for the Texas Algorithm Medication Project. She has published over 70 articles appearing in the American Journal of Psychiatry, Archives of General Psychiatry, and Harvard Review of Psychiatry, to name a few.

Dr. Manning, M.D. is the founding editor of The Primary Care Companion to the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry. He served for 12 years on the faculty of University of Tennessee, Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Manning has authored or co-authored more than 50 letters, articles and editorials in a variety of journals. Dr. Manning returned to private practice as a family physician in 2003, is on the faculty at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and co-directs the Mood Disorders Clinic at the Moses Cone Family Practice Residency in Greensboro.
