Marilyn Krysl
Marilyn Krysl has published more than 100 poems, stories, and essays in journals such as The Atlantic, The Nation, and The New Republic, and in collections like Best American Short Stories 2000, O. Henry Prize Stories, Pushcart Prize Anthology, and Sudden Fiction. She is currently Director of the Creative Writing Program at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has taught ESL in the People's Republic of China, served as Artist in Residence at the Center for Human Caring, worked for Peace Brigade International in Sri Lanka, and the Kalighat Home for the Destitute and Dying administered by Mother Teresa's Sisters of Charity in Calcutta. She has received two NEA fellowships.
