W. Patrick McCafferty has been a Professor of Entomology at Purdue University for the past ten years and has published over fifty scientific articles and monographs on the taxonomy and ecology of aquatic insects. Dr. McCafferty is an internationally known aquatic entomologist and has regularly acted as a freshwater environmental consultant to both governmental and private agencies.


Arwin Provonsha

Arwin V. Provonsha is one of the world's foremost scientific illustrators of insects. He has exhibited throughout the United States, and his illustrations have appeared in numerous books and articles, as well as on the covers of popular magazines. He currently teaches biological illustrating at Purdue University, is a well-known aquatic entomologist in his own right, the Curator of the University's insect collection, and a avid fly fisherman.
