Pamela Ellsworth, MD, is an Associate Professor of Urology/Surgery and Pediatrics at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Ellsworth is a summa cum laude graduate of Boston College and received her MD from The University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her Urology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and had a fellowship in Pediatric Urology at the University of Florida-Gainesville. She has been certified and recertified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Ellsworth is a member of several organizations/medical societies including the American College of Surgeons, the American Urological Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She serves as a reviewer for several medical journals. Dr. Ellsworth has lectured throughout the world on a variety of urologic topics, and has served as a volunteer on surgical and educational missions to Guatemala and East Africa. She is the author of over 40 publications and a similar number of book chapters. She has authored five books including: 100 Questions & Answers about Erectile Dysfunction, 100 Questions & Answers about Prostate Cancer, 100 Questions & Answers About Bladder Cancer, and 100 Questions & Answers About Overactive Bladder and Urinary Incontinence. In addition to her pediatric urology interests, her adult urology interests include overactive bladder, male sexual dysfunction, and prostate cancer.
