George T. Grossberg, MD - Samuel W. Fordyce Professor, Director of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry , Saint Louis University School of Medicine , St. Louis, Missouri
Dr. Grossberg’s professional expertise is devoted to geriatric psychiatry. In 1979 he started the first Geriatric Psychiatry program in Missouri, and in 1985, the first Alzheimer’s Disease Community Brain Bank. He is a former president of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry, past president of the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA), and has served on the IPA Board of Directors since 1994. Dr. Grossberg has edited eight textbooks and contributed over 350 articles, chapters, and abstracts to the geriatric literature. He currently serves as medical editor of CNS Senior Care, as medical editor for Geriatric Psychiatry in Current Psychiatry, an editor of the Merck Manual of Health and Aging, and on the editorial boards of the Journal of the American Medical Director’s Association, and Demencia Hoy. In early 2007, Dr. Grossberg published the text: The Essential Herb-Drug-Vitamin Interaction Guide (Broadway Books) for the lay public.

Dr. Kamat is a Staff Psychiatrist at Saint Alexius Hospital and Forest Park Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Missouri. Dr. Kamat is also a voluntary faculty at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Kamat finished his Psychiatry Residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, St.Louis, Missouri and then completed his Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, St.Louis, Missouri. He has published a number of articles appearing in various peer reviewed journals and also participated in a number of clinical trials.
