Manish A. Shah, MD - (Series Editor), Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Dr. Shah is an Assistant Attending Physician in the Division of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and Instructor of Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. A summa cum laude graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Shah underwent his internship/residency at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship in Medical Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He served as Chief Fellow in Hematology/Oncology.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, Dr. Shah specializes in the treatment and research of gastrointestinal malignancies, with a particular interest in Upper Gastrointestinal Cancers. He is the recipient of several awards, including the ASCO Young Investigator and Career Development Awards and the CALGB Investigator Award, and is author of numerous peer-reviewed articles in the biology and treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies.

Natasha A. Pinheiro, RN, BSN, has been a nurse for 10 years and has
Bachelors degrees in Communications and Nursing . Her clinical specialty
is gastrointestinal oncology nursing. Since 2000, she has worked
at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center specializing in the care
of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies, specifically gastric and
gastroesophageal cancers. While maintaining an active clinical practice
where she counsels patients and families on all aspects of their disease
and care she has continued to be involved in developing patient education
materials and participating in professional activities.
Brinda Shah, RPh - Division of GI Oncology, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Brinda Shah, RPh, is a Registered Pharmacist working in the field of
medical education, currently as President of the consulting firm, Advanced
Knowledge Concepts, Inc. She graduated Magna Cum Laude
from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy in 1992,
where she received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with a minor
in Biochemistry. She has extensive experience in pharmacy consulting,
long term care, and home infusion therapy. As a patient advocate, she
has also begun projects as a Medical Writer.
