Sarah Jo Brown, PhD, RN - Consultant, Practice-Research Integrations

Dr. Brown is an evidence-based practice consultant working with Nursing Departments, Home Care Agencies, Professional Associations, and Academic Nursing Departments. She has taught nursing research and evidence-based practice to undergraduate and graduate students. Her research involvements have been diverse. Publications include study reports, a research-based guideline, and articles about evidence based practice and advanced nursing practice. Her earlier book, Knowledge for Health Care Practice: A Guide to Using Research Evidence (1999) focused entirely on the use of research evidence in practice.
