Manoj Sharma, MBBS, CHES, PhD, is a faculty member in the Department of Health Promotion and Health Education at the University of Cincinnati. Initially trained as a physician, Sharma has also completed his doctorate in Preventive Medicine/Public Health from The Ohio State University. He has worked in community health for more than 25 years at the local, state, national, and international level. Dr. Sharma's research interests are in designing and evaluating theory-based health education and health promotion programs, alternative and complementary systems of health, and community-based participatory research.
