Muhiuddin Haider, PhD - George Washington University

Muhiuddin Haider, Ph.D., is a Faculty in the Department of Global Health at the School of Public Health and Health Services and in the Department of International Affairs at the Elliot School of International Affairs in George Washington University in Washington, DC.  He received his Masters degree in Population Planning and Doctoral degree in Population Education and Communication from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.  His major interests and expertise include health communication program development and evaluation; health infrastructure capacity building; family planning, HIV/AIDS, and MCH social marketing campaigns; national and global reproductive health capacity building; health reform via public private partnerships; and IEC/BCC programs for disease prevention and treatment.  Dr. Haider has extensive field experience in 21 countries in South, East, and Central Asia, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa.
