Manish A. Shah, MD - (Series Editor), Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Dr. Shah is an Assistant Attending Physician in the Division of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and Instructor of Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. A summa cum laude graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Shah underwent his internship/residency at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship in Medical Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He served as Chief Fellow in Hematology/Oncology.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, Dr. Shah specializes in the treatment and research of gastrointestinal malignancies, with a particular interest in Upper Gastrointestinal Cancers. He is the recipient of several awards, including the ASCO Young Investigator and Career Development Awards and the CALGB Investigator Award, and is author of numerous peer-reviewed articles in the biology and treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies.
