This text is written with terminology that an introductory class would understand. There is enough use of specific technical terms to teach but not overwhelm. While reading the text, I found myself thinking that is how I would have written or explained [concepts].

The material is well written, easy to understand, and written at an appropriate level. There is a lot of great information about becoming an athletic trainer, roles of an athletic trainer, and attributes of good athletic trainers.
-Matthew Rothbard, Towson University
I like the easy to read format. This would be a great text for the pre-Athletic Training student or for introductory courses in sports medicine. I like the practical aspects of the way this is written.
