Pamela Ellsworth, MD, is an Associate Professor of Urology/Surgery and Pediatrics at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Ellsworth is a summa cum laude graduate of Boston College and received her MD from The University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her Urology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and had a fellowship in Pediatric Urology at the University of Florida-Gainesville. She has been certified and recertified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Ellsworth is a member of several organizations/medical societies including the American College of Surgeons, the American Urological Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She serves as a reviewer for several medical journals. Dr. Ellsworth has lectured throughout the world on a variety of urologic topics, and has served as a volunteer on surgical and educational missions to Guatemala and East Africa. She is the author of over 40 publications and a similar number of book chapters. She has authored five books including: 100 Questions & Answers about Erectile Dysfunction, 100 Questions & Answers about Prostate Cancer, 100 Questions & Answers About Bladder Cancer, and 100 Questions & Answers About Overactive Bladder and Urinary Incontinence. In addition to her pediatric urology interests, her adult urology interests include overactive bladder, male sexual dysfunction, and prostate cancer.


David A. Gordon, MD, FACS - Chesapeake Urology Center for Continence & Pelvic Floor Disorders

David A. Gordon, MD, is a urologist who specializes in voiding dysfunction. He is currently an assistant clinical professor of urology at the University of Maryland and Medical Director of the Chesapeake Urology Center for Continence and Pelvic Floor Disorders in Baltimore. Dr. Gordon received his MD from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After finishing his urology residency, he went on to pursue a post-doctoral NIH-funded research fellowship in uropharmacology, also at the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, he was involved in muscarinic receptor profiling, as well as many phases of the FDA approval process for agents and interventions used to treat bladder dysfunction. Dr. Gordon is a member of many professional societies, including the American Urogynecologic Society, the American Urologic Association, the Bladder Research Council, and Pelvic Health Education Initiative. He has also authored and co-authored a number of book chapters and journal articles, as well as lectured widely on various topics in urology, including overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor reconstruction.
