Patti Rager Zuzelo, EdD, APRN-BC, CNS - La Salle University School of Nursing and Health Sciences - Albert Einstein Healthcare Network
Dr. Zuzelo has practiced as an acute care nurse for over twenty-five years. She received her BSN in 1981 from The Pennsylvania State University. In 1986, she graduated with an MSN in Nursing Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed doctor studies at Widener University in 1998. Dr. Zuzelo has been a professor at La Salle University for the past nine years and has coordinated the CNS track during this time. She is a board certified medical-surgical CNS and holds a joint appointment with Albert Einstein Healthcare Network as the Associate Director of Nursing for Research. In this capacity, she continues to work closely with CNSs.
Dr. Zuzelo is actively involved in the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists and founded the Delaware Valley NACNS Networking Group which she continues to co-chair. Dr. Zuzelo has continued to practice while teaching, most recently practicing as an emergency trauma nurse. Dr. Zuzelo teaches the final year of the CNS track, including didactic and clinical content. She also teaches undergraduate and graduate research, acute care nursing, and health promotion/physical assessment, She lives in the Bucks County region of Pennsylvania with her husband of twenty years, two teenage sons, and an assortment of pets.
