Dianne V. Jewell, PT, PhD - Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia
Dr. Jewell received her bachelor of arts in history from Williams College, her master of science in physical therapy from Boston University, and her doctor of philosophy in health services organization and research from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She is a board certified specialist in cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy and has practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings for 18 years. Currently Dr. Jewell is Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at VCU where she teaches the evidence-based practice component of the curriculum in both the professional and the transitional doctor of physical therapy programs. She also mentors students pursuing their doctor of philosophy degree in the VCU School of Allied Health’s distance-based graduate program.
